Our History

Mark Catrabone started in the financial business in 1993.  Matthew Catrabone began his financial career in 1995.  Joining together in 2001, they both realized they wanted to be able to do more for their clients and be independent of the bureaucracies of a large captive firm.  After an exhaustive search for a home that would allow the freedoms the Catrabones and their clients deserved, in 2005, CC&A found Commonwealth Financial Network^®.

This affiliation allows the Catrabones to more readily expand on their core beliefs in order to objectively manage the numerous financial affairs of the individuals, family members, and business they serve. 

CC&A is able to take on fewer, more sophisticated clients who are looking for more individualized attention, while partnering with the professionals who they personally know and trust. 

Throughout their history,  The Catrabones have been selective in their partnerships and staffing, choosing to collaborate only with individuals who embody the same values and standards of excellence that they uphold. 

The Catrabones are fortunate to have a staff who they believe are some of the most caring, trusted and capable in the business. 

Mark and Matt both have their FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registration through Commonwealth Financial Network^®, and life accident and health insurance licenses, as well as being AIF^® designees.  In addition, in 2000 Mark passed his FINRA Series 24.
